May 21, 2002 · With The Diaries of Vaslav Nijinsky, Cox has taken his approach to documentary filmmaking practice much further and has subsequently made a denser, multi-layered, impressionistic film. This film is based upon the published diary “Cahiers” which Nijinsky wrote in 1919 during an extremely traumatic period of his life.
