   What happened to Mandy?

   • Mandy is abducted by a cult, led by Jeremiah Sands (Linus Roache), who can actually summon demons. She meets an awful fate, and Red, possessed by grief and rage, becomes her bloody avenger. These days, I find the narrative convention of the abducted and violated woman unappetizing.
