- ''Sweet Hearts Dance'' tends to drift, but it has good humor and an easygoing appeal, not to mention a thoroughly attractive cast. Mr. Daniels, who is always a delight in fall-guy roles, has an especially appealing one here, and Miss Sarandon makes the lot of the long-suffering Mrs. Wiley Boon seem funny and real. Mr. Johnson is nicely self-mocking as a man who gets winded trying to chase egg-throwing teen-agers on Halloween (and a man who'd not-so-secretly like to be out throwing eggs himself).

Watching “Sweet Hearts Dance,” I was reminded of those experiments. This is a movie that has all of the right stuff in the soup, but no lightning. The movie takes place in a small New England town and tells the story of two couples - one breaking up, the other falling in love.

Sweet Hearts Dance is a real good movie, It stars Don Johnson and Susan sarandon as a married couple and its about how thier marriage falls appart over the year and it shows them from holiday to holiday. Its a real good movie and kind of sad because thier seperation effects thier 3 kids (one of whom is played by Charmeds Holly Marie Combs)
