Toho's submission was registered with its international title, Key of Keys, and the movie's Romaji title, Kokusai Himitsu Keisatsu: Kagi no Kagi. In Tokyo, Toho showed the film to Henry G. Saperstein with hopes that he would purchase overseas distribution rights.
