Grace (Nastassja Kinski) feels smothered by her marriage. Her husband, Matt (Hart Bochner), is unemployed and drinks too much. Matt has also stopped paying attention to her sexually, which eventually sends Grace off to Miami Beach, Fla., to get away from it all.
