Oct 13, 2020 · That being said, "S.O.S. Titanic" is most successful at its human level. Cameron's film tended to squeeze humanity into archetypes; as a result, the action and spectacle tended to supersede the humanity. Hale's film focuses the disaster through the eyes and experiences of a handful of characters that cut across the three classes.
