Synopsis. Romania - "proud land, budding Eden" - sometime in the early 1980s, a little like the 1950s in the West. A soldier named Honatu is dying to get laid. Cristina, a high-school student, is not totally against the idea, but only after getting engaged. It's a matter of principle.
