Jun 26, 2014 · Overview. Two sailors, Joe and Clarence have four days shore leave in spend their shore leave trying to get a girl for Clarence. Clarence has his eye on a girl with musical aspirations, and before Joe can stop him, promises to get her an audition with José Iturbi.
Synopsis. Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra teamed up for their first of three musical comedies in this frothy confection of sailors on leave in Hollywood, with gawky, shy young Sinatra tagging along with his worldly buddy Kelly, who promises to show him the ropes.
A police officer (Rags Ragland) who catches up with him pawns him off on the two sailors who take him home and babysit him until much to their surprise his aunt turns out to be a beautiful young lass.
