Michael Feifer’s B.T.K. describes itself as ‘a fictional film based on a real character’. That character is the serial killer Dennis L. Rader, who was arrested in March 2005 for the murder of ten people, in a killing spree that spanned two decades.

B.T.K. has a made for telly feel about it, it's competent but underwhelming & forgettable. The budget for this was probably fairly low but it does have decent production values & doesn't look that cheap.
B.T.K. is an average direct to video horror film, but it may be worth your time based on its surprisingly well-executed kills and a strong performance from Kane Hodder. The film is way more intense than you may be expecting.
