Synopsis. After hauling horses across the country, rancher Tom Hunter (Peter Fonda) and his young son, Dylan, arrive at the Arkansas ranch of Tom's brother, Charlie (Scott Glenn), and their father, Jeff (John Doucette), who are overjoyed to see them.
An Arkansas farmer takes it upon himself to fight back against the corrupt developers who are attempting to evict him and his neighbors from their land.
An evil corporation tries to pressure a bunch of Arkansas farmers and ranchers to sell their land so they can strip-mine it for coal. The fiercely proud and stubborn Hunter family refuse to give in.
