We are a roller skating rink that embraces Chicago Style JB Skating and culture. The Rink has served the community for almost 50 years. We are the only African-American-owned roller skating rink in Illinois.

About Us. The Rink opened at its original location at 8920 So. Ashland Ave., on Thanksgiving Day, 1975. The Rink spearheaded many major achievements. Most notably, The Rink was a sponsor of the first Afro-American roller-skating play, “Look Mama, No Hands,”, held at what was then Medinah Temple.
