Land of Plenty proved me wrong with their variety of great lunch specials. Although they market themselves as a sichuan restaurant, they also offer some other Chinese dishes that are not just spicy. For their weekday lunch specials, for ~$11-13 (excl tax and tip), you can get good Chinese food with generous portions.

Land of Plenty is packed at lunchtime with Bloomberg workers. Most are Asian so they should know a good Chinese Restaurant! I love it. I arrive early for the great Won Ton or Sweet and Soup soup or an egg roll appetizer. I love the Orange Chicken, the marvelous string beans and the 10 ingredient pasta from Singapore, redolent with curry.

NYC must have thousands of Chinese restaurant. You just have to walk anywhere in Manhattan & one will always be there to try. No need to make a special trip down Mott st. Well tonight we tried Land of Plenty. Just hubby & myself. We had 1st the Crispy Veg. Spring roll -good flavor, crispy & not greasy.
