It burns cool at a reasonable pace, and gives you a decent amount of smoke, and a very consistent flavor. Didn't bite or get harsh, but left some moisture in the bowl. Feb 15, 2020 · Half-and-Half has earned its way for about a century, so many find it a pleasing smoke. It was an old timer when I was a kid. It's a bit edgy for me, and not that good tasting otherwise, but no one likes all blends. I like SWRA not to mention Granger and Mixture No. 79. H&H just doesn't have the mellow notes that I look for in a Va/bur.
