With D-Day fast approaching, the Allied forces of World War II prepare to strike a number of strategic Nazi bases. Leading one such attack, Maj. Jamie Wilson (Lloyd Bridges) concocts a risky plan for what is quickly becoming a suicide mission. With a reckless streak that has cost the lives of many men, Wilson faces the opposition of Capt.
