Val Kilmer's movie is about memory and revenge, and tenderness for the abused woman (Deborah Kara Unger) who lives across the hall in his fleabag hotel. Summaries. After a tragic incident, a man drifts into a world populated by thugs and speed junkies. After the murder of his beloved wife, Danny Parker is set adrift in a world where nothing is as it seems.
