Wildflower is a beautiful gem of a TV movie with an outstanding performance by Patricia Arquette as partially deaf young woman who suffers from epileptic seizures and is held captive in a shed by her abusive stepfather.
One day Sammy and his younger sister Ellie happen upon a cabin where Alice, a partially-deaf young girl with epilepsy is being kept by her abusive stepfather. The three soon become friends, and Sammy and Ellie hope to get Alice an education and help her escape from the daily torture she endures.
