Krezip is een Nederlandse band uit Tilburg, waarvan de harde kern bestaat uit zangeres en pianiste Jacqueline Govaert, haar zus Anne Govaert op gitaar, Annelies Kuijsters op toetsen en zang, en Joost van Haaren op bas. De eerste jaren was de groep een vijfpersoons formatie, met Kuijsters op gitaar en zang en Govaert op piano.

Krezip began as a four-piece outfit in 1997 in Tilburg, Netherlands, consisting of Jacqueline Govaert on vocals, Anne Govaert and Annelies Kuijsters on guitar and Joost van Haaren on bass guitar. Though these four formed the core of the band, they found it difficult to find a suitable permanent drummer.

Jacqueline Govaert (Dutch pronunciation: [ʑɑkəˈliŋ ˈɣoːvaːrt]; [a] born 20 April 1982) is a Dutch singer, songwriter, and pianist. She is best known as the leader of Dutch band Krezip. After Krezip disbanded in 2009, Govaert started a solo music career.
