Mark Avsec. Mark Avsec (born August 23, 1954) is an American rock keyboardist, songwriter, and producer. He was a member of the funk rock band Wild Cherry. Avsec was an original member of Donnie Iris & the Cruisers. He wrote or co-wrote all of the band's music, was its sole lyricist, and produced all of its albums.
Mark earned his B.A. summa cum laude in 1992 and his J.D. magna cum laude in 1994 from Cleveland State University. He has been a ranked lawyer in Chambers USA since 2015 and has been named an Ohio “Super Lawyer” for Intellectual Property several times. He is a member of the Leadership Cleveland Class of 2014.
