Brendan Harkin was a guitarist for New Jersey-based rock band Starz, an act Bill Aucoin managed from 1975-1977. Signed to Capitol Records in 1976, the group scored their lone Top 40 hit, "Cherry Baby," from 1977's "Violation," which was produced by Jack Douglas.
