Early life and education. Soto was born in Ringwood, New Jersey, to a Puerto Rican father, O. Lou Soto, and an Italian-American mother, Jean Soto. He attended Lakeland Regional High School, and then got his BA at Rutgers University and JD at George Washington University. [1]
After learning the value of hard work from his parents, Darren graduated from Rutgers University and the George Washington University School of Law. Upon graduation, Darren opened his own practice in Central Florida, where he practiced family law, civil litigation, and real estate law.
