Tomoyuki Tanaka (1910-1997) was a Japanese producer, writer and soundtrack artist who created the iconic monster Godzilla and oversaw many Toho sci-fi films. He also worked with director Akira Kurosawa on six films, including Yojimbo and High and Low.
