Beryl Vertue CBE. A British television producer, who, through her own production company, Hartswood Films, was responsible for some of the UK’s most popular shows. Among her credits are The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie (1978), Men Behaving Badly (1992-1998), Coupling (2003) and Sherlock (2010-2017).
