Tuff Gong is a record label formed by the reggae group The Wailers in 1970. Before 1981, the label used the facilities of Federal Records recording company in Marcus Garvey Drive. [1] The first single on the label was "Run For Cover" by The Wailers.
Since 1965, Tuff Gong has been dedicated to promoting, preserving and maintaining the reggae community and culture.
Tuff Gong’s recording studio is the birthplace of some of Bob Marley’s greatest work including Redemption Song, Iron Lion Zion, and One Love.
