For three generations, we at Ida Crown Jewish Academy have guided more than 4000 young men and women to reach their individual potentials, molding future leaders in Jewish life, business, government, science and the arts.
Ida Crown Jewish Academy is a Modern Orthodox Jewish high school in Skokie, Illinois, under the auspicies of the Associated Talmud Torahs. Its current dean is Leonard Matanky. ICJA places emphasis on both Judaic and Secular studies and holds its students to high academic standards.
Every day we offer more than 250 sections of courses focusing on Judaic and general studies. Combined, the courses provide a well-rounded and intellectually stimulating college preparatory education, helping Academy students develop critical thinking, creativity and a lifelong love of learning.
Through events such as annual retreats at a resort in the Wisconsin Dells, Chanukah, Purim and Lag B’Omer celebrations, and Yom Ha’Atzmaut programs, Academy students and staff build a close-knit community, solidified by their shared experiences and memories.
