The Snohomish County Clerk’s Office summonses jurors for Superior Court and the four divisions of District Court (Cascade, Everett, Evergreen, and South) within Snohomish County. Approximately 60,000 to 80,000 jurors are summoned annually.
Feb 7, 2024 · Superior Court conducts criminal felony and civil jury trials. There are also civil non-jury trials and bench trials (no jury present, judge decides). Most jury trials have 12 person juries with one-two alternate jurors; other trials utilize a six-person jury.
Juror Responsibilities. Your job as a juror is to listen to all the evidence at trial, then "decide the facts". The judge’s job is to decide the law and make decisions on legal issues that come up during the trial. Everyone must do their job well to make our system of trial by jury work.

Do pay close attention. If you cannot hear what is being said, raise your hand and let the judge know. Do keep an open mind.
Dec 30, 2022 · How do I get called for jury duty? Jurors are selected at random from voter registration, driver's license, and "identicard" records. To be eligible for jury service, you must: Be at least 18 years of age. Be a citizen of the United States. Reside in the county in which you are to serve as a juror. Be able to communicate in English.
You can also call the Jury Information Line at (800) 488-3350. Select the first option on the menu and follow the voice prompts. The Jury Assembly Room typically opens between 7:00 and 7:30 AM on jury selection days.
