Jul 18, 2011 · The Seattle Aquarium is open with timed ticketing to enhance your experience. We recommend purchasing tickets online in advance to reserve your preferred entry time. The Aquarium opens at 9:30am, with last entry at 5pm, and closes at 6pm.
The Seattle Aquarium is a public aquarium in Seattle, Washington, United States, located on Pier 59 on the Elliott Bay waterfront. It opened in 1977 and has been accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA).

May 1, 2021 · The aquarium is a centerpiece of the City’s revitalized waterfront. Key features include an impressive 120,000-gallon exhibit and animals organized in several major exhibits that include coral reefs, shore birds, marine mammals, sea otters, sea turtles, harbor seals, and many more.
Visit the Seattle Aquarium and explore the wonders of the underwater world! Discover playful sea otters, the graceful octopus, luminous moon jellies and more. Be amazed by the Window on Washington Waters, a 120,000-gallon exhibit filled with Northwest sea life.
The Seattle Aquarium is at 1483 Alaskan Way on Pier 59, at the Seattle Waterfront. There are touch-pools with starfish, an illuminated jellyfish ring, and an underwater dome. Visitors can get up-close with a Giant Pacific Octopus and then step outside to view playful harbor seals and sea otters.
