McCloud. (TV series) McCloud is an American police drama television series created by Herman Miller, that aired on NBC from September 16, 1970, to April 17, 1977. The series starred Dennis Weaver, and for six of its seven years as part of the NBC Mystery Movie rotating wheel series that was produced for the network by Universal Television.
McCloud is a 1970s action crime drama starring Dennis Weaver as Sam McCloud, a marshal from Taos, New Mexico, who works as a detective in Manhattan. The show was inspired by the Clint Eastwood movie Coogan's Bluff and ran for seven seasons.

McCloud ran for 7 seasons and it is with delight that I have to say VEI have pulled out all the stops in producing this DVD. It has the pilot episode of McCloud as well as the 7 seasons as mentioned. But it also has the hour long episodes that were shown under the "Four in One" umbrella series which it shared with three other series.
