    1.First Syndicated episode; this version began as a weekly Series. There were no returning champions, unlike the Daytime series. Beginning here, Richard's wardrobe was provided by Botany 500; it was still provided by Clipper Craft Clothes on the Daytime series. Both Families played during the daytime show, Benson in 1976, and Nogy during 1977. Dumb answer from Virgile in the second question about "Naming a Country That Most Americans Distrust" ("France"). Richard tries on a 10-gallon hat in the third question. The Nogy Family defeats the Benson Family after three questions, $285-$54. Fast Money results: 112 (Kriss), 113 (Kelly; passed on the first question), $10,000 win. The Nogy Family's final total is $10,285.
