Its name was changed to The Ted Knight Show when the show was retooled in 1986 for what would turn out to be its final season, due to Ted Knight 's death.

  6. In liberal San Francisco a conservative cartoonist tries to keep his two daughters, who rent an apartment below him, safe. In season 6 the cartoonist buys a small-town newspaper in Tiburon. Jackie and Sarah Rush are two grown sisters who live in half of a duplex. Their parents, Henry and Muriel, live in the other half.

  7. Tue, Nov 18, 1980. Henry and Muriel hire two ex-convicts to repair a damaged wall in their kitchen. Meanwhile, Jackie was tasked to deposit a large sum of money for her work at the bank. When the bank closes before she gets there, Jackie had to take the cash home. As a result, Henry tries to hide the cash, not wanting the ex-cons to spot it.
