Maximum Bob is an American comedy-drama television series that aired on ABC from August 4 until September 15, 1998. Starring Beau Bridges, the show was based on Elmore Leonard's 1991 novel of the same name.
With Beau Bridges, Liz Vassey, Sam Robards, Kiersten Warren. A "Twin Peaks"-like series. "Maximum Bob" is an ultra right-wing conservative judge in Florida who has a psychic ex-marine show mermaid for a wife. The sheriff is a widower who ballroom dances. The public defender is a spitfire from Miami.
