Casting. In February 2017, Shemar Moore was announced as Daniel "Hondo" Harrelson, [ 27] alongside new co-stars Kenny Johnson as Dominique Luca, who was originally named Brian Gamble, [ 28] and Lina Esco as Christina "Chris" Alonso, who also originally named Sanchez. [ 28]
A locally born and bred S.W.A.T. lieutenant is torn between loyalty to the streets and duty to his fellow officers when he's tasked to run a highly-trained unit that's the last stop for solving crimes in Los Angeles.
In the aftermath of his decision, Hondo questions his future as new threats emerge in the city and the team's fate hangs in the balance.
