I remember seeing the pilot of this short-lived series as a 13-year old and thinking it was the scariest thing I'd ever seen made-for-tv.

  2. Featured review. 8/10. Entertaining and impressive Sci-Fi/Horror TV movie. Something is out there (1988) is all about detectives Jack Breslin (Joe Cortese) and Frank Dileo (George Dzundza) who are investigating a serial-killer, who slaughters his victims and removes their internal organs.
