In the premiere episode of this CBS legal drama series, young lawyer David Hansen (Robert Foxworth) gave up his position with the prestigious law firm of Horton, Troy, McNeil, Carroll and Clark, in plush Century City, California, to join two other young attorneys in a non-profit practice.
David Hansen was a big-shot lawyer who grew tired of his Los Angeles law firm; he left to start a non-profit firm called Neighborhood Legal Services based in Century City, California.
