A Man Called Shenandoah is an American Western television series that aired Monday evenings on ABC-TV from September 13, 1965 to May 16, 1966. It was produced by MGM Television. Some of the location work for the 34 half-hour black and white episodes were filmed in California's Sierra Nevada and Mojave Desert.
Shenandoah gets roped into helping a Mexican-American priest move a very large church bell to his parish. As always, Shenandoah has to skillfully fight off the bad guys. When the bell is finally delivered, the parishioners do not appreciate their priest's Herculean effort to obtain it.
Discovered by two bounty hunters, the mystery man is taken to the nearest town, where they hope to claim a reward for him, but the man is not on any wanted list, and no one knows who he is. He is given the name Shenandoah, told that his age is 34 and warned by doctors not to search for his past . . .
