is the twelfth incarnation of Hanna-Barbera's long-running TV series, Scooby-Doo. It is produced by Warner Bros. Animation, and aired on Cartoon Network and Boomerang. It premiered on October 5, 2015 at 7:00pm and 8:30pm, respectively. Cartoon Network stopped airing new episodes and episodes in general on March 12, 2017 with Boomerang airing one more new episode the next week. Boomerang continued to air reruns for the next twenty episodes (leaving out the one they aired exclusively) for the next year until they stopped due to committing to air the rest of season one and all of season two on their pay service site.

aired around the world, usually on either Cartoon Network or Boomerang (or Teletoon in Canada's case).

•Frank Welker as Scooby-Doo and Fred Jones. Scooby says "Ruh-Roh" sparingly because his words have been reduced, so he can be sharper and quicker; Fred has control issues and is always trying to keep the quirkier members in check.

•Matthew Lillard as Shaggy Rogers. He managed to graduate high school, but has no foreseeable plans for the future. Shaggy's humor is styled after the Marx Brothers, making him wittier.

•Grey Griffin as Daphne Blake. Due to a rich, sheltered upbringing, she is naïve and has quirks such as wearing a beard and moustache in one episode. When Fred asks Daphne why, she simply responds by asking him why he doesn't have one.

•Kate Micucci as Velma Dinkley. She's so smart that colleges apply to her, but she's socially inept. On each case, she gives a detailed illustration called "Velma's Mind's Eye."

    •Richard Lee - Art director

•Jon Colton Barry - Writer; songwriter

Jay Bastian says of the development of this show, "The last Scooby-Doo [sic] we did was a little more intense, and a little scarier. This new one is much more cartoony and silly[…]What we've got so far is really funny."

To match the comedic tone, the gang was given a more edgy look; they're basically the hipsters of their world. The characters were redesigned by Shakeh Haghnazarian to resemble more exaggerated takes of the gang's classic designs, thus retaining their original 1969 outfits. Just like the original series, no romantic attachments within the gang were featured (a prominent feature in What's New, Scooby-Doo? and Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated) and Scooby would have more limited "dialogue". Fred has also outfitted the Mystery Machine with a slew of gadgets.

This series reintroduced chase songs with lyrics, last used a decade earlier in What's New, Scooby-Doo?.

Kate Micucci replaced Mindy Cohn as Velma for this series. Mindy's reason for leaving the role was due to her struggling with breast cancer. Despite her recovery, she was never asked by Warner Bros. to return to the role and Kate took it over onwards and into many other projects.
