   • Marcella is 'out there' I have watched Season 1 and 2 and, if you want gripping police drama, this is the right series for you. Marcella is a work-obsessed British detective who loses her family bit by bit. Some of the Season 2 storyline is severely edgy (young teens being abducted & harmed), but a lot is seen after the fact.
