Scott, Ramona and their friends face their toughest challenge yet in a knockdown epic showdown that could change everything.

Over a loudspeaker, Matthew Patel announces that the play is about to begin. Todd orders popcorn with extra butter. Just as he leaves to take his seat, Ramona bursts through the door. Scott emerges from Ramona's Subspace Suitcase, and punches the popcorn bucket out of his arms. Scott attempts to fight him, but he says that he is vegan no longer. Scott concludes that he didn't create the Anti-Kiss field. Todd tells him that he is no longer interested in Ramona, because he is in love with Wallace Wells; he then realises that Scott was Wallace's roommate. From the balcony above, Wallace tells him that he is not interested in him, and he should move on. Todd tells him that there were sparks, but Wallace insists that "sparks" do not exist. Wallace leaves, and Todd chases after him.

Matthew Patel arrives with his Demon Hipster Chicks. Scott prepares to fight him, but Matthew refuses to fight, citing how important this night is to him. Gideon Graves and Julie Powers arrive. Scott asks him about the Anti-Kiss field. Gideon tells him that he has put his villainy behind him, and is now with Julie. Lucas Lee and Roxie Richter appear along with the Paparazzi Ninjas. After she quickly defeats the ninjas, Scott asks if they know anything about the Anti-Kiss field. Roxie says they didn't, and the two go to watch the play. Kyle & Ken Katayanagi arrive with Robot-01. Robot-01 has told them they are best friends in the future, and thus will not fight Scott. Ramona is confused; if all the Exes have been ruled out, then who put up the field? We then cut to the stage. The camera pans up to reveal that the stage has been rigged with dynamite.

Scott and Ramona take their seats. Almost immediately, Lucas Lee appear, with him and the rest of the Exes urging the two to kiss. The play starts. Matthew Patel (dressed as Scott Pilgrim) appears on stage and begins singing. The play progresses rather well, with everyone in attendance seeming to enjoy it. Just as Knives and Stephen's "Bread Makes You Fat" starts playing, Gideon pulls out a detonator. Just as lowers his finger over onto the button, a red ball of energy appears, transporting Scott, Ramona, their friends, Julie, Robot-01 and the League into the Dream Desert. Todd thinks the teleportation is part of the play and the special affects are incredible, but Matthew corrects him that it’s not and he needs get back to the play and sing the big finale. It's here that Gideon reveals his dynamite plan. Julie explains that it is to get back at Patel for stealing Gideon's fortune. Despite that fact that only the cast and crew will get hurt, Lucas still tells him it's not cool. Just then, they hear someone shout “Enough!” and a shadowy figure appears above them. Stephen and Kim recognize him as Scott, but older. Even Older Scott Pilgrim introduces himself.

Scott greets him, but Even Older Scott punches him harder. He told him that he was warned to stay away from Ramona, and the two begin to fight. Ramona steps into fight. Even Older Scott tells the two to kiss, making Scott realise that he created the Anti-Kiss field. He reveals this was a back-up plan. When he gave Scott a drink in the last episode, he secretly laced with nanobots, built by the Twins, coded to Ramona's DNA. Unfortunately, the Anti-Kiss field is impenetrable. Since winning didn't change anything, he has arrived, deducing that Scott's friends will team-up at some in the future to destroy the Anti-Kiss field. Although his memories are still a little fuzzy, he learns that all his plans are too complicated. Before he tells Scott he needs what he should have in the first place, Gideon interrupts, telling him to send back everyone else, since they have no beef with him. Even Older Scott refuses and Force-Chokes him, before letting him down, calling him "pathetic".

Even Older Scott tells Scott that after Old Wallace kicked him out, he locked himself in a shack and spent the next ten years training, learning all of Scott's skills, abilities, powers and weaknesses. He tells him his only goal in mind now. destroy everyone. Ramona pulls out her Large Hammer (+10 against elders), and the fight begins. Even Older Scott attempts to punch Scott, but Ramona blocks the blow with her hammer, before swinging it upwards, knocking him down. She jumps up and hits him again; he crosses his arms to block the blow, before uncrossing them with enough force to destroy the hammer. Scott goes up against Even Older Scott, and lands several blows before he too is knocked down. Knives comes to Ramona's aid; Ramona gives her a twin set of daggers, before joining the fight. She manages to stab one into Even Older Scott's arm. Knives continues fighting, until he punches her hard enough to send her flying (and the red highlights out of her hair).

The Evil Exes join the fight: Matthew with his mystical powers, Lucas with his skateboard, Roxie with a sword and shuriken and Todd regaining his vegan powers after consuming a piece of broccoli. Matthew attacks him with his mystical powers, while Roxie manages to keep him occupied; with this distraction, Lucas hits him with his board, allowing Todd to pound him into the ground. Even Older Scott rises up again, besting the four, and destroying Robot-01. Gideon fires the Glow at him, in the form of a powerful laser; Even Older Scott redirects the blast towards the group, but they put up the Musical Shield to shield themselves. Even Older Scott unleashes the red energy blast, sending the League, Julie and all of Scott's friends back to the theatre.
