The Rusty Nail is the 3rd episode of the first season of Greek.
Rusty comes over to the Kappa Tau house because he "finished his problem set early." He and Cappie walk around the house before realizing that everywhere is being taken because everyone is hooking up. Eventually he turns to Cappie and sees him with a girl, realizing that he definitely won't be able to do anything at the house tonight.
Flashing sideways, Casey is with Evan and while they start to make out, Casey stops and decides to change into something more comfortable. When she walks out of the room, Evan races to undress and prepare the room for potential sex, only for her to walk in clearly just ready to relax. He's visibly disappointed but nonetheless lets Casey cuddle up to him.
Zeta Beta Zeta is formally introducing their new pledge class to Omega Chi and inviting them to a mixer. While the pledges initially start off with a boring, traditional song, they eventually break into a more provocative and upbeat dance, which engages the fraternity far more. However, Rebecca is being awfully close with Evan, which concerns Casey considering...prior events.
Sideways again to the Kappa Taus, Rusty is acting as a human sticky board and Cappie is going through chapter meeting. Cappie wonders what a "D func fri" is, and Wade tells him it means date function Friday, the first of the year, which means that everybody has to find a date. This is worrying for Rusty, as it's not like girls are falling all over him for him to choose from.
Calvin volunteers to be ZBZ errand boy for the week, since the rest of the guys are unwilling to do it.
Frannie wants Casey to dress 'sexy' for Evan, but Casey isn't quite ready yet, as she's still definitely not over Evan cheating on her. Frannie pulls her "it's for the good of the sorority" deal, and convinces Casey that she should mend things with Evan.
