Petra Seupulveda is one of the main cast members of Human Resources. She is an ambition gremlin, who works at Human Resources with Emmy. As an ambition gremlin, Petra's goal is to help people stay determined to follow their hopes and dreams and never give up, no matter what.
Human Resources
In "Birth", Petra made her debut, working as Becca's ambition gremlin. She didn't want Becca to risk getting a promotion because of maternity leave, worrying about the baby on the way, which she helped deliver at the end of the episode. In "Rutgers is for Lovers", Petra worked as the ambition gremlin for Nadja El-Khoury and encouraged get to break up with her girlfriend, Danielle and go to UC Berkeley. However, Nadja's lovebug, Rochelle argued that she should favor love over her career and choose to go to Rutgers with Danielle instead. Ultimately, Nadja chose to follow Petra's advice and leave Danielle for Rutgers. However, Petra proved herself to be a hypocrite when she was inspired by Nadja and Danielle's relationship to ask out her workplace crush, Gavin. This made her realize she was wrong to tell Nadja to choose her career over love but by the time she went to correct her mistake, it was too late, as Nadja had already broken it off with Danielle. The silver lining to this is that Petra and Rochelle finally found an agreement on something, and Petra said Nadja'll date someone else at Rutgers. In "Shitstorm", Petra helped Gavin to brave the shitstorm to reset the protected for the company building. In "The Tell-Tale Dick", Petra worked as the ambition gremlin for none other than Kamala Harris. In "Tony: The Life of an Office Cold", Petra got sick with a germ named Tony but refused to quit work, even though she was sick. She eventually had to get dragged out of the office by Grace and Walter in a burlap sack just to prevent other people from getting sick too. In the end, Petra used some spray to kill Tony and his entire family. In "Pity Party", Petra helped Sal Diaz communicate his desire for a toy truck, even though his disability prevented him from speaking. She had to make a decision she wasn't proud of, when she realized she needed to ask Hope for help, despite previously putting her down. Together, they helped Sal focus on the truck he desires. Fortunately after some encouragement from Hope and Petra, Sal used sign language to say that he wants a truck to his mothers and said "Fuck" as his first word, mainly from Petra. Later, Sal was happy with his new toy, even Petra joined him on the fun.
Big Mouth
Petra made a cameo in "The Ambition Gremlin", working as Andrew's ambition gremlin. Andrew had recently given up masturbation and shifted his focus toward getting good grades in school. Petra told Andrew to keep this up and continue leading a life of success. However, she'd eventually end up overworking him and making him regret his decision. Andrew then saw an ad from Diane Lane and went right back to jerking off again, losing Petra as an ambition gremlin in exchange for getting Maury back.
Petra is a short little lime-green goblin with dark green hair, vibrant purple eyes, and red lips. She wears a gray business suit, a white undershirt, and a red tie.
Petra is a very aggressive spirit, she pushes her clients to finish work and push through any and all distractions. She is very hardworking and refuses to back down from her work for any reason. She also has a habit of cursing others (her clients included) when she’s flustered or extremely impatient.
