Jan 20, 2021 · El Prado has finally achieved its long-sought "historic community" status after years of hard work and multiple setbacks. Taos County commissioners voted unanimously in a regular meeting Tuesday (Jan. 19), to approve an ordinance naming El Prado a "Traditional Historic Community."
