The Interurban Railway Museum is a FREE museum located in Plano's Haggard Park and surrounding Historic Downtown Plano. Parking is available in the lot immediately adjacent to the museum and the DART rail stop. Museum guests will enjoy a tour of Railway Post Office Car #360.

The Interurban Railway Museum's Educational Mission. We are dedicated to teaching and exchanging ideas about the history of the Texas Electric Railway and Plano, Texas in ways that are factual, fun, and engaging to our audiences.
The Texas Electric Railway operated from 1908 to 1948. The station was renovated by the City of Plano in 1990 and opened as the Interurban Railway Museum. Since 2001 the museum has been operated by the Plano Conservancy for Historic Preservation.
