I was just in Santa Monica for the weekend with friends. It was shocking as to how run down it was. Lots of homeless on the streets. We were having dinner on the corner of Colorado and Ocean just last night when at least 10 police cars, 4 ambulances and several fire engines headed out to the pier around 8 pm or so due to a gang related stabbing.
