Shoreline Lake Park was originally a landfill, but the city of Mountain View turned it into a 750-acre recreation area with an 18-hole golf course and driving range, a 50-acre artificial lake filled with water pumped from the Bay, and nearly eight miles of trails, many of them along sloughs and marshes.
Shoreline At Mountain View has unique history, wildlife, habitats and wide variety of outdoor activities. The 750-acre wildlife and recreation area with it’s beautiful setting by the San Francisco Bay has gorgeous views of the mountains to the west and east across the bay.
