Its really good. When Natalie comes in they sort of make the show about putting him in weird situations for a season or two, but it finishes really really strong. The final season is awesome. Also the weird situation episodes are still good, they are just more about seeing Monk reacting to a monkey than solving a crime.

Monk was the first Touchstone Television-produced show aired on USA Network instead of ABC. Although ABC initially refused Monk , they did air repeats of the show on ABC between June–November 2002, and then again between March–May 2004.
