Sacramento's a great city once you get used to it. It's not a city great with first impressions, but it grows on you. I like the shaded trees and the fact that I don't have to drive around for an hour just to find parking like San Francisco.

Jul 10, 2017 · Sacramento’s downtown is in the middle of a transformation. Some areas, like Midtown, are already bustling with new restaurants and developments, while others are ready to take off. The new Golden 1 Center is the shiny centerpiece of downtown revitalization, and other projects are popping up around it. We’re not too big, not too small.
I can tell you from my own perspective what life is like in Sacramento. I have lived here for 58 years, and worked for the State of California for 32 of those years.

I like it out there, but there are better areas. If I were looking now, i would chose Rosveville, Rocklin, or Folsom, all suburbs of Sacramento, but everything is close. Its not a bad place to live which i am usually reminded of when I travel for work to other places like Los Angeles and its suburbs.
