Dec 31, 2023 · The town of Jupiter is located on the east coast of Florida, approximately 87 miles north of Miami. Jupiter sits on or near the banks of several waterways, including the Intracoastal Waterway, the Jupiter Inlet and the Loxahatchee River. Several other waterways are also nearby, including the Tequesta River and the Atlantic Ocean.
A popular shove-off point is Riverbend Park, which also offers horse trails and hiking through Seminole Indian historic sites. Right in town, the turquoise lagoons of DuBois Park and Jupiter Beach Park are ideal for swimming, stand-up paddleboarding and snorkeling. There’s plenty to do on dry land in Jupiter, too.
