Open the audio settings in Reaper and set the System Audio dropdown box to ASIO then make sure the ASIO Driver dropdown box has your interface selected. It shows up as "Focusrite USB ASIO" for me.

I'm a newb at PC recording...have used Bandlab Cakewalk a bit, but am frustrated at the difficult (for me) process of slowing the loop tempos without degradation. I'm considering buying Reaper. Would I be able to easily do that in Reaper? Do I need a specific file type to do so (e.g. REX2)?
