Jan 21, 2014 · whenever you want to use the uk stuff, just tap WINKEY+SPACE and it switches languages. Then press shift+3 to get the pound symbol and hit winkey+space to go back to US keyboard. A possible solution: get the Microsoft keyboard layout creator tool and remap a key combination to write the £ symbol.
