Sep 17, 2019 · One of the city's largest districts, the 16th stretches across a wide swathe of Paris' northwestern border and is situated on the right bank of the Seine. It hugs the vast, leafy park known as the Bois de Boulogne and the affluent suburb of Neuilly-sur-Seine.
This large district occupies most of the West of Paris, extending east-west between the bends of the Seine from the Jardins of Trocadero immediately facing the Eiffel Tower to the expansive Bois du Boulogne (which occupies a larger part of the 16th's territory), and north-south from the Etoile to the southern border of Paris.
