You can buy decent doors from menards in crest line but they are special order and take a couple weeks to get. I have both,the crest line have been problem free,the mastercraft arebad. They also sell good windows if you special order them.

  7. I think the pricing is fantastic, particularly if you buy during rebate time. This makes me feel great, because I’m actually getting 9 solid core interior doors delivered from Menards tomorrow.. just wasn’t sure of their exterior ones. If you're planning on sanding and staining, be very careful.

  8. May 13, 2014 · Our door shop hangs 50 or so doors per week at a minimum. We buy the slabs from Koetter , then mill the jambs and apply the stops in our mill shop out of solid Poplar or Pine. From what I've over-heard, there is a BIG difference in what's used in the core of the door and obviously, how thick the veneer is and how it's applied.
